About this role

As a Senior Software Engineer on Camunda's Distributed Systems team, you will design and maintain the highly scalable streaming platform powering Camunda 8's orchestration cluster. You will lead medium-to-large engineering initiatives, improve disaster recovery capabilities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance developer tooling and engineering effectiveness in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain backend services for the distributed streaming platform
Lead medium-to-large engineering initiatives end-to-end
Implement online backup and restore APIs for disaster recovery
Develop developer and operator tooling for complex distributed systems
Participate in L3 support and on-call rotations for production issues
