About this role
As a Software Engineer - Data Platform at Phare, you will be responsible for developing the data foundations of the Phare stack, creating backend schemas and APIs that support an AI engine and user-facing applications. The role involves managing high-throughput data pipelines, ensuring performance and security compliance, and leveraging tools such as Python, Go, Java, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes. You will also work with Spark, Airflow, or Kafka for data orchestration, implementing observability practices to maintain data quality and reliability, ideally with experience in healthcare data standards like FHIR and HL7. This position is based in NYC and requires in-person collaboration at least three days a week.
