About this role

Cerebras Systems is seeking a Software Engineer focused on Observability to design and implement metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting infrastructure for large-scale, performance-critical production systems. This role involves building and maintaining telemetry pipelines, developing internal observability platforms, and defining SLIs, SLOs, and alerting strategies to ensure high reliability and fast debugging. The engineer will partner with cross-functional teams to reduce MTTR, improve the developer experience, and balance telemetry signal with cost and performance impact.
