Baseten
Baseten is seeking a Software Engineer to design and build a user-space, VPP-based data plane for connecting microVM sandboxes in a multi-tenant environment. The role involves developing secure, low-latency networking solutions, including virtual private networking and programmable APIs, to support the company's agentic cloud infrastructure. This position focuses on building the underlying network as a provider rather than just consuming existing cloud services.
Baseten provides an inference platform built to deploy AI models in production. It enables serving and scaling open-source and custom AI models on a fast, reliable inference engine. The platform is designed to streamline production deployment for developers and data scientists by handling the underlying infrastructure and model serving at scale. Baseten helps teams ship AI-powered features quickly with production‑grade performance and reliability.
