About this role

This role focuses on developing realistic, intelligent traffic and pedestrian agents within Zoox’s simulation environment to support validation of its autonomous driving stack. The position involves modeling complex human-like behaviors for various road users and advancing the state of the art in traffic and behavior modeling. The engineer will work closely with AI, QA, and validation teams to ensure simulations accurately reflect real-world urban driving conditions. The work directly supports Zoox’s mission to deploy a fully autonomous vehicle fleet and mobility-as-a-service platform.
