About this role

VAST Data is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and optimize high-performance distributed systems and core data engines for its AI infrastructure platform. The role involves developing a scalable event-streaming and messaging platform compatible with the Kafka protocol, ensuring correctness, fault tolerance, and high availability across large-scale clusters. This position requires deep expertise in C/C++, Linux internals, and distributed system architecture to support massive data processing workloads.

Responsibilities
