About this role

Leidos' Undersea Systems Division is seeking a Software Engineer to join a fast-paced R&D engineering group in San Diego, CA. This role focuses on driving innovation in underwater vehicle systems, maritime sensors, and ISR solutions to support critical defense and national security missions. The position requires maintaining a Secret Clearance and working a 9/80B schedule onsite at NIWC PAC.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize uncrewed underwater vehicle software and sensor integration
Design and refine user interfaces and control systems for onboard UUV sensors
Conduct sea-based testing, data analysis, and produce technical engineering reports
