Software Ground Integration Engineer at NASA's Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Program

Responsibilities

Manage and lead the requirement development and change process for the Kennedy Ground Control System (KGCS)
Assess how Change Requests (CRs) affect assigned KGCS requirements, cost, and schedule
Support project and subsystem System Acceptance Reviews (SAR) and Design Certification Reviews (DCR)
Develop and manage verification and validation (V&V) objectives for Program and Element level requirements
Provide systems engineering and integration support to Kennedy Ground Control System (KGCS) testing during processing operations and launch countdown support

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) required, preferably in Software / Computer Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
