About this role

RTX is seeking a Principal Engineer for the Engine System Software organization within Pratt & Whitney Controls & Diagnostic Systems. This role focuses on the development, certification, and support of military and commercial gas turbine engine control and diagnostic systems using Agile methodologies. The successful candidate will drive software requirements, perform verification and validation, and potentially serve as a Scrum Master to deliver robust safety-critical solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop software requirements and designs within the Agile Framework
Conduct regression analysis to determine verification scope
Execute low-level module and object testing
Produce software requirement and design specifications
Collaborate on safety-critical software development for gas turbine engines
