Software QA Engineer, Embedded Linux

Firestorm is seeking a Software QA Engineer to serve as the first line of deep testing for its embedded Linux software stack managing defense aerial vehicles. This role involves validating firmware, drivers, and safety-critical data paths through hands-on exploratory system testing and targeted automation using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) rigs. The engineer will collaborate closely with avionics and autonomy teams to harden reliability, produce clear test documentation, and mentor engineers on embedded QA techniques before flight tests.
