Solder Technician, PTH & Selective

About this role

Responsibilities

• Solder electronic components on PCBs using through-hole techniques
• Set up, operate, and perform basic maintenance on selective solder machines
• Program, adjust, and monitor selective solder machines to maintain proper solder levels, temperatures, and flux application
• Follow assembly instructions, schematics, and diagrams to ensure correct component placement and orientation
• Inspect assembled products to ensure proper functionality and workmanship per IPC standards
• Repair defects in soldered components such as missing/insufficient solder, lifted leads, solder bridges, cold solder joints, wrong orientation
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with ESD and safety requirements
• Meet production quotas and deadlines
