About this role

As a Senior Self-Service Architect at Extend, you will lead post-sales technical implementations for retail merchants, managing complex integrations and onboarding experiences from discovery to go-live. The role involves establishing technical documentation, building reusable integration assets, and pre-launch QA to ensure seamless connectivity with large-scale merchant systems. You will act as the primary technical point of contact, collaborating with engineering teams to drive operational efficiency through AI and automation opportunities.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery and implementation conversations with merchant clients
Own end-to-end technical onboarding experiences from kickoff to go-live
Establish technical documentation including system architecture diagrams and API inventories
Build reusable integration assets to improve consistency across the merchant portfolio
Conduct pre-launch QA including sandbox testing and validation of integration flows
