Responsibilities

Operate sonography equipment to produce high-quality ultrasound images and obtain measurements
Communicate with patients and radiologists to relay pertinent information and perform additional exams
Assist radiologists during ultrasound biopsy procedures using sterile technique and universal precautions

Skills

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography ProgramActive certification with ARDMS (SPI only is not eligible for hire) or ARRT(S)ARRT-BS is also acceptable if performing breast sonography only
