Sonographer

The Sonographer performs and records routine echocardiographic ultrasound studies, interprets acquired data, and creates preliminary reports under the supervision of the Medical Director and Lab Supervisor. This role involves operating various ultrasound equipment, recognizing normal and pathological conditions, and ensuring complete and accurate information is obtained for varied patient groups. The position requires proficiency in all clinical modalities offered in the UCSF Echo Lab and collaboration with staff to facilitate scheduled exams.
