The Restoration Technician supports the Southern Illinois Interagency Habitat and Fuels Crew in managing non-native invasive species on the Shawnee National Forest. This is a short-term, full-time seasonal field role based in Carterville, IL (May–August) focused on protecting and restoring forests, grasslands, and wetlands across a large geographic area. The position is geared toward early-career candidates seeking hands-on restoration experience and professional networking in conservation.
