The Space Systems Manufacturing Engineer - Mechanical at Rocket Lab is responsible for facilitating and optimizing production of spacecraft mechanical systems and subsystems in a high-growth, high-consequence manufacturing environment. The role focuses on owning mechanical production lines, supporting hands-on builds, and ensuring best-practice manufacturing principles are applied to meet program deadlines and KPIs. The position requires close collaboration across engineering, technician, and subject-matter expert teams to enable effective production, test, and operation of spacecraft.
