Special Agent

Special Agents with the Norfolk Southern Police Department work closely with communities, other law enforcement, and government agencies to advance railway safety and ensure the security of infrastructure, community, and employees. The role involves patrolling railroad property, conducting inspections and criminal investigations, and responding to police calls for service as a first responder. This position requires a certified or commissioned law enforcement officer to safeguard property and deter crimes against NS property.
