Special Assets Officer

The Special Assets Officer oversees the operational management of the bank's non-performing assets, developing strategies to minimize loan losses and direct recovery efforts throughout the credit deterioration lifecycle. This role involves coordinating collection processes, managing bankruptcy proceedings, and handling the acquisition and disposition of Other Real Estate Owned (OREO) properties. The position requires ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while collaborating with lenders and bank management to resolve problem assets.
