The Special Ed Resource Teacher provides learning activities and experiences to help special education students achieve their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. The role involves developing or modifying curricula, preparing lessons, and implementing instructional programs tailored to student ability levels. The teacher works in various capacities, including self-contained, team, departmental, or itinerant settings, and collaborates with staff, parents, and students to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
