Special Education Paraprofessional

Under the direct supervision of a certified staff member, this role assists professional staff with students in the classroom to meet instructional goals and objectives. The position involves reinforcing basic learning, implementing assigned programs, and supporting students with special needs to maximize inclusion and achievement. The paraprofessional also helps with classroom preparations, record-keeping, behavioral management, and non-instructional duties to free certified employees for other educational tasks.
