Special Education Teacher

This role involves providing special education students with tailored learning activities and experiences to support their intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. The position requires developing or modifying curricula and preparing lessons to match student ability levels while working in various capacities such as self-contained or itinerant. The teacher is responsible for implementing instructional programs, conducting assessments, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop and follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
