Special Education Teacher

The Special Education Teacher provides an educational atmosphere supporting the intellectual, emotional, and physical growth of students in grades 1st through 12th. The role involves designing and implementing curriculum and lesson plans aligned with Longmore Academy’s goals and MHY’s mission to ensure academic success. The teacher is responsible for managing a caseload of Special Education students, developing IEPs and 504 plans, and maintaining effective records and procedures. The position requires supervising students, communicating with stakeholders, and modeling professional and ethical standards.
