Special Needs Bus Aide

The Special Needs Bus Aide supports the HUSD vision by assisting with the safe transport of special needs students on school buses. Responsibilities include loading and securing students in wheelchairs, monitoring restraints, communicating concerns, and helping the driver with directions, cleaning, and supplies. The role requires a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid certification, and the ability to lift and secure students using wheelchair lifts and restraints.
