About this role

Equinix is seeking a Platform Engineer to architect and build next-generation AI-native and Agentic platforms for enterprise-scale data and intelligent systems. This role involves designing unified platforms that support data pipelines, GenAI applications, and multi-agent orchestration using cloud-native patterns on Google Cloud. You will collaborate with AI/ML engineers and SRE teams to create scalable, observable, and automated infrastructure for agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

Architect and build cloud-native platforms on Google Cloud supporting data and AI workloads
Design event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka or Google Pub/Sub systems
Build scalable microservices and APIs using Java and Spring Boot frameworks
Develop real-time and batch data pipelines using Airflow and Spark tools
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and Kubernetes for scalable deployments
