The Specialty Clinical Pharmacist provides safe, effective, and prompt pharmacy services as part of the Case Management team at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. The role involves managing patient drug therapy, ensuring appropriate medication orders, and serving as a primary resource for drug information and patient counseling. The pharmacist also participates in training new employees, precepting pharmacy students, and maintaining quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
