Speech-Language Pathologist

Under the direction of the Rehab Director, the Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates, diagnoses, and administers medically prescribed speech therapy treatment to patients across pediatric and geriatric populations. The role involves screening and assessing speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders, while formulating and documenting plans of care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Additionally, the position requires educating patients, families, and staff regarding impairments and participating in patient-care conferences to support comprehensive treatment and discharge planning.
