Spiritual Counselor

The Spiritual Counselor provides assessment, planning, and ongoing evaluation of spiritual needs to meet patient and family goals within the Coastal Hospice IDT model. This role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, coordinating with clergy, and facilitating family meetings to alleviate suffering and support acceptance of the dying process. The position also includes maintaining spiritual documentation, assisting with bereavement services, and developing educational programs for staff and the community.
