Spring 2027 Co-Op, Protein Sciences

Vertex Pharmaceuticals is seeking a motivated co-op scientist to join its Protein Sciences team in San Diego for a 6-month program from January to June 2027. The role involves developing and executing biochemical, cell-based, and biophysical assays to assess protein quality and target engagement, as well as expressing and purifying recombinant proteins. This position offers hands-on experience in experimental design, assay development, and data analysis within a supportive and inclusive environment.
