The SPR/Utilities Operations Apprentice is a year-long, full-time program that provides comprehensive training at SPR and the Allen Water Treatment Plant, with six months spent at each location. Apprentices work under licensed operators, learning water treatment plant operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance while meeting training objectives.
South Platte Renew, formerly the Littleton Englewood Waste Water Treatment Plant, is a wastewater treatment and water renewal utility serving 19 communities in the Denver, Colorado area. The organization is driven by innovation and sustainability, offering programs for businesses, citizens, and educators, and operating the PARC (Pilot and Research Center) to advance solutions in water, natural gas, and biosolids. South Platte Renew is jointly governed by the cities of Englewood and Littleton.
