A Senior Accountant at Lightspeed who owns significant portions of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for multi-entity subsidiaries, prepares and posts journal entries, manages complex accounting processes, supports financial reporting and audit requirements, and develops process flows and automation for financial operations.

Responsibilities

Own assigned areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for multi-entity subsidiaries
Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, prepaid amortization, intercompany, deferred costs, and significant reserves
Manage complex accounting processes for software capitalization, goodwill, and intangible assets
Maintain rigorous workpaper standards for external audit and investor reporting
Support financial reporting and audit by delivering timely, well-organized audit evidence
