About this role

Moog’s Space & Defense Group is seeking an experienced Sr. Buyer/Planner to support its Mountain View operation, owning purchasing and material-planning activities for assigned programs in a high-mix, low-volume aerospace manufacturing environment. This hands-on role involves converting program demand into executable plans, managing supplier commitments, and providing accurate material status to ensure cost, quality, and schedule commitments are met. The position requires strong judgment, follow-through, and regular interaction with the production floor and supply base.

Responsibilities

Develop material and production plans using ERP/MRP systems
Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle and supplier performance
Negotiate contracts and resolve supply chain shortages
