About this role

As a Sr Cybersecurity Engineer, you will lead Risk Management Framework assessments and secure Authority to Operate for advanced aeronautical systems and Special Access Programs. This role involves conducting vulnerability assessments, analyzing program documentation, and collaborating with program managers to protect critical defense simulator infrastructure. You will contribute to a mission-driven team ensuring national security through rigorous cybersecurity compliance and technical risk management within the U.S. Air Force environment.

Responsibilities

Lead RMF Assessment and Authorization efforts to secure Authority to Operate
Conduct in-depth vulnerability and risk assessments to identify threats
Apply technical risk management principles to secure Air Force Platform IT systems
Analyze program documentation to ensure cybersecurity requirements are met
Collaborate with program managers on Program Protection planning and execution

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related fieldCISSP or CASP+ or CISM or GSLC or CCNP SecurityDoD 8570.01-M compliance (IAM Level II or IAT Level III)10+ years of cybersecurity experience in DoD or aerospaceAdvanced degree preferred
