About this role

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build, operate, and scale the governed data foundation for Operations in North America. This role involves designing reliable data pipelines, creating curated datasets, and preparing AI-ready data products using Python, PySpark, and the Microsoft Azure platform. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data solutions are secure, reusable, and aligned with enterprise AI direction.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and PySpark on Azure
Build curated lakehouse datasets and semantic-model inputs for operational insights
Implement SQL and Spark transformations to support enterprise reporting and analytics
Optimize Spark jobs and SQL workloads for performance and resource efficiency
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into practical data solutions
