About this role

This role focuses on executing localization projects by transferring global design expertise to the Indian cluster. The engineer will drive end-to-end component-level design execution, manage project schedules, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including engineering, procurement, and manufacturing. Key duties include developing core engineering skills, creating 3D models and 2D drawings, conducting Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE), and ensuring compliance with international standards.

Responsibilities

Execute localization projects by transferring global design expertise to the Indian cluster.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones for knowledge transfer.
Create 3D models and 2D drawings of products using GEA technology.
Conduct Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE) for every component task.
Maintain quality checks in design ensuring compliance with international standards.
