About this role

The Sr. Director of Cybersecurity Engineering leads teams to engineer, implement, and improve enterprise security controls across identity, endpoint, network, cloud, application, and data environments. This executive role partners with CISOs and business stakeholders to establish strategy, define metrics, and ensure operational efficiency in security resilience.

Responsibilities

Define and own cybersecurity engineering strategy and operating models aligned with business risk
Establish executive-level metrics and scorecards for security control adoption and reliability
Manage lifecycle for security tooling including IAM, EDR, CSPM, and secrets management platforms
Embed security into delivery pipelines through DevSecOps standards and automated guardrails
Build and lead high-performing cybersecurity engineering teams with focus on quality and discipline
