About this role

As a Senior Director of Protein Therapeutics Research, you will lead the protein biochemistry team to develop recombinant DNA and protein expression strategies that support drug discovery programs. You will set long-term research visions, implement automated molecular biology workflows, and oversee external CRO activities to ensure the delivery of qualified proteins for small and large molecule campaigns. This role requires deep expertise in structural biology and collaboration with engineering and informatics teams to drive scientific innovation and operational capacity.

Responsibilities

Lead Protein Biochemistry team to develop recombinant DNA and expression strategies
Set vision and strategies for new research capabilities and expanded capacity
Scope, design, and build automated molecular biology and protein workflows
Oversee externalized activities at CROs including protocol transfer and quality control
Partner with IT and Informatics to streamline structured data capture for analytics
