Archer
Archer is seeking a Senior Electrical Technician to join its Integrated Test Labs team in San Jose, California. The role focuses on building, wiring, and validating advanced subsystem integration test labs and hardware-in-the-loop test benches rather than traditional flight-line aircraft maintenance. The technician will work closely with test and software engineers to execute complex wire harness fabrication, perform lab modifications, and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced R&D environment.
Archer designs and develops electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft — electric air taxis — for use in urban air mobility networks. The company’s mission is to “unlock the skies,” enabling people to reimagine how they move and spend time by bringing on-demand, low‑emission aerial transit to cities. Archer’s team is based in Santa Clara, California and is focused on advancing aircraft design, testing, and commercialization.
