The Senior Field Clinical Engineer serves as the primary technical and clinical liaison between physicians and Globus Medical, overseeing IDE clinical trials, post-market studies, and product development feedback for implantable spinal cord stimulation systems. This senior role involves coordinating complex field research, troubleshooting technical issues affecting patient safety, mentoring junior engineers, and educating clinical staff on device programming and protocols. The position requires deep expertise in medical device regulations and the ability to collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and Product Development teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate IDE clinical trials and feasibility studies for new device deployment
Serve as technical liaison between physicians and Product Development for device improvements
Troubleshoot complex field technical issues to ensure patient safety and device functionality
Mentor junior Field Clinical Engineers on clinical procedures, protocols, and professional development
Conduct field research including patient fitting, data collection, and investigator site recruitment
