About this role

A software testing specialist will ensure the quality of infotainment firmware and lower-level BSP features through testing methods including automation, manual testing, and semi-automated approaches. The role involves contributing to automated test cases and advancing testing processes across the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Lead Integration & verification of Android, Linux, QNX, subsystem modules
Develop strong understanding of various BSP level components and their functionality
Support failure and root cause analysis for test and development team
Develop test strategies to effectively test subsystem modules on bench and vehicle
Maintain and execute automation test scripts for platform features

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field5+ years hands-on experience integrating and testing Automotive embedded sub-systems or similar consumer electronics devicesUnderstanding of continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD) software development modelsSolid understanding and experience with RTOS and POSIX-based embedded systems; one or more of Linux, Android, QNXFluency with debugging communications issues involving Ethernet and CAN using industry standard tools
