Senior Materials Engineer on the Vehicle Refurbishment team responsible for supporting SpaceX’s vehicle reusability efforts through materials assessment, analysis, and process solutions. The role focuses on characterizing flown materials and coatings, driving failure investigations, developing inspection and corrosion mitigation programs, and expanding lab capabilities at launch sites. The position requires working on-site at launch facilities, interfacing across engineering and technician teams, and supporting maintenance and refurbishment operations.
