About this role

The Sr. Principal Systems Engineer leads a cross‑functional team of 25–30 engineers to develop and integrate advanced signal processing algorithms and embedded software for a missile system software upgrade program. The role provides technical direction across signal processing, embedded software, configurable logic, and CMBRE domains while also handling Control Account Manager responsibilities such as budgeting, Earned Value Management, and performance tracking. This onsite position is based in Tucson, AZ and requires an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide unified technical direction across software and algorithm disciplines
Lead multi‑discipline engineering teams and ensure integrated decision‑making
Maintain architectural coherence and requirements traceability
Drive development of advanced signal processing and tracking algorithms
Perform CAM duties including planning, budgeting, and EVM tracking

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)Active Secret U.S. Government issued security clearance
