A Sr. Reactor Operator - In Training at Vistra completes initial license training at Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station to obtain and maintain a Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license. Upon licensing, the SRO supervises the reactor control room and ensures the safe, reliable operation of the nuclear reactor while protecting public and environmental health. The role requires completion of classroom, simulator, and on-the-job training and working rotating 12-hour shifts.
