The role involves modernizing telephony services, building low‑latency media pipelines, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams while participating in on‑call and release rotations.

Responsibilities

Maintain and modernize real‑time telephony services
Build and optimize low‑latency media pipelines for voice and video
Investigate and resolve complex production issues across PSTN and WebRTC
Run load, failover, and regression tests to validate scalability and resilience
Participate in on‑call and release rotations managing GKE‑backed rollouts
