About this role

SpaceX seeks a Senior Electro-Optical Engineer to own the design, testing, and on-orbit operations of the Starshield space laser system supporting national security missions. The role is part of the Starshield program and involves cross-disciplinary collaboration to mature high-data-rate laser communications for challenging space environments. Candidates will work on hardware and system-level efforts from lab testing through production readiness.
