About this role

A Senior Space Operations Engineer at SpaceX is a multidisciplinary member of the mission management, spacecraft operations, and training teams who supports customers from early proposals through test, launch, and on-orbit operations. The role drives development of spacecraft ground systems, operator training curricula, and simulation tools while collaborating across engineering, software, payload integration, and launch operations to ensure safe and reliable missions. The position also communicates technical approaches to customers and executives and leads process and system improvements to scale operations.
