About this role

The Sr. Sustaining Engineer ensures the health and compliance of existing product offerings, including medium voltage fuses, by leading certification efforts, executing cost reduction strategies, and resolving production issues. This role involves close collaboration with manufacturing, quality, and customer teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain high-quality standards. The position requires hands-on engagement with production processes and mentoring of junior engineering staff.

Responsibilities

Lead sustaining engineering activities for existing Industrial Circuit Protection products
Partner with Product Management to identify and execute cost reduction and VA/VE opportunities
Manage certification and agency approval activities including test planning and coordination

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
