About this role

As a Senior Thermal Analyst at Blue Origin, you will ensure the thermal integrity of the New Glenn heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle across all operational phases. The role involves performing detailed thermal analysis, developing and validating ANSYS and Thermal Desktop models, and collaborating cross-functionally to meet performance and safety requirements. You will lead design reviews, execute test plans, and drive the resolution of thermal design risks for reusable vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed thermal analysis of Thermal Protection System components
Develop and validate ANSYS and Thermal Desktop thermal models
Lead thermal design reviews and verification activities throughout the lifecycle
Execute thermal test plans and correlate analytical models to flight data
Identify and drive resolution of thermal design risks and anomalies
