SSDS Technical Operator

As an SSDS Technical Operator, you will operate, configure, and support the U.S. Navy's Ship Self Defense System aboard the Self Defense Test Ship in Wallops Island, Virginia. You will bring combat systems from cold iron status to operational readiness, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate with government engineers to execute developmental and operational testing. This role requires deep expertise in naval combat systems to ensure mission readiness and support the development of next-generation surface warfare technologies.
