Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant assists with maintaining general ledger accounts and developing financial statements and reports within the Mount Airy Casino Resort's policies and procedures. This role involves preparing financial reports, processing journal entries, and evaluating financial returns for capital requests. The position also requires tracking operating performance, supporting the budgeting process, and providing accounting support to other departments.
