Staff Accountant

The Fixed Asset Staff Accountant serves as a financial and accounting resource for the DFA Dairy Brands centralized Fixed Assets Group, providing technical knowledge of fixed assets and lease accounting. This role is accountable for recording the cost of newly acquired fixed assets, tracking existing assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for asset dispositions. The position supports monthly close processes, prepares financial statements, and ensures compliance with GAAP.
